Our founder's vision for iconicChat has been to bring people together globally, through a universal digital form of communications. It is to help people around the world to connect easily regardless of background, culture, language, or dialect. She has been envisioning a nonverbal method that optimizes the agility and efficiency of conception and comprehension of conversations, hence in many situations cutting time and costs, saving lives, increasing efficiency, and speed of operations. iconicChat's nonverbal visual push-of-an-icon conversations ease the path toward Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Leadership
Fari Schlake, Ph.D., is Founder, CEO, CIO, CTO, and President of iconicChat since 2018.
At iconicChat, Fari has innovated a universal digital visual communication model for push-of-an-icon conversations using no words. iconicChat disrupts the way we communicate and connect today in form of texting. iconicChat can be used in B2B, B2C, and C2C personalized communications in all markets to maximize agility, efficiency, and global connectivity bypassing the language barriers. iconicChat is a nonverbal way of expression, solving health-, age-, ethnicity- and background-based limitations, supporting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI).
Professionally, Fari has established a successful track record of innovation, entrepreneurship, technical consulting, advisory, project management and systems engineering on large-scale international commercial and US-federal projects. She has worked with and for companies like CACI Federal, Lockheed Martin, IBM, Loral Federal, Bell Atlantic and MCI (now Verizon) in the US and Siemens in Germany. Her activities in professional organizations encompass director of the IEEE Washington DC Section and the chair of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Northern Virginia and Washington DC Chapter to reactivate and expand the chapter's activities.
Academically, Fari has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Her M.S. in EE (eqv) encompasses graduate work done at George Washington University in US, universities of Duisburg and Siegen in Germany. She received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
Fari is an avid humanitarian, and a compassionate problem solver for humanity. She is a futurist at heart and a proponent of innovations and change. She is a scientist, engineer, and artist, using her gift of logic and foresight, she is curious to go beyond the not so intuitive and in many cases not so conventional ahead of times!
